I will share here photos, taken on the Christmas Eve while having some fun with the kids, my cousins and relatives. My boyfriend gave me budget to buy toys and other gifts to share to them that made the Christmas merrier. I planned to gave the gifts after the Christmas Eve mass but it was changed because the kids always asking when they can get and open their gifts. So I gave their gifts just right before going to mass.

My cousin's family from Cebu visit us here in Iligan City to spend Christmas. Her kids want to have fun so we decided to go swimming at Timoga swimming pool. We reached their around 12 noon but it was not a hot day. And after a few hours we experienced rain showers which is not good because it makes the water so much colder. Here are some fun pics i want to share.
Today, two bombs blasts minutes apart in 2 different department stores in Iligan City. The explosions killed workers and wounding for around 40 people. The city is under the red alert status after the two explosions. No one has claimed responsibility for the two consecutive blasts in the city, but officials have blamed Muslim rebels for similar attacks in the volatile region in the past few months. There's a captured from CCTV camera from one of the department store, a man wearing muslim's religious dress, who left a package on the store's baggage counter. My mother told me that our neighbors who are vendors near that store, were injured and is now at the hospital. Let's pray for them and for peace in Mindanao.
This is my first time having an opportunity to post from blogvertise. It's been a long time since i am member of this site. They put their tasks in bag and I just got 2 tasks from it. So i better start writing now. Hope they will approve it for good.

Misa de Gallo (Rooster's Mass) in the traditional Spanish and in Filipino as Simbang Gabi, or "Night Mass", this novena of Masses is the most important Filipino Christmas tradition. It will start tomorrow dawn so I need to go to bed early so i can wake up as early as 3am. The mass will be starting at 4am but needs to go earlier so we can still have seats. Simbang-gabi masses are expected to have a lot of church-goers. Going to mass this early for nine consecutive days is meant to show the churchgoer's devotion and faith as well as to heighten anticipation for the Nativity of Jesus. In traditional Filipino belief, however, completing the novena is also supposed to mean that God would grant the devotee's special wish or favour. See you at the church!hehe
As i promised, i will share you some beach photos taken last Sunday on my cousin's thanksgiving party for passing the teachers board examination. We had so much fun at the beach. Played badminton with my cousins. Though it rained when we are on our way home already but still was very good day!
Our telephone line for home was accidentally cut by our neighbor last November 29, 2008, saturday afternoon. Haven't report it till Tuesday, because they don't open Sunday and was holiday that Monday. My mother reported it early Tuesday and they just told her that they will send technician to fix it. But then no one came up to fix the line, so i kept asking my friend who has telephone to call again and again. I also went at their office 3 days after mother called them but still no responce. Week passed and i can't still use my internet connection for there is no telephone line. PLDT company in Iligan City needs more improvement in giving good service to their customer because we pay right! If they lack of people for giving service then they must hire because i think for the expensive bill we paid every month, they can also afford to employ more technicians for faster services! I just got back my telephone line today, Monday morning December 8, 2008 after 1 week and 1 day of waiting. Grrrrrrrrr to them!
Yesterday, i had the opportunity to visit and see some part of Marawi City. My cousin who graduated at MSU main campus invited me to go with her. She was checking some information from the school because she just passed the licensure examination for teachers. It was an hour of travel from Iligan City till we arrived the school. We did some site seeing and here's some photos we took.

While i am sitting infront of the computer and was busy dropping EC on other blogsites, an earthquake happened. It's around 6:30Pm when the shaking starts and ends after around 10 seconds. I thought it was just me who feels dizzy but when i look at tv, is was shaking too. Whew! sometimes unexpected moves of the earth really happens. Thank God it did not take so long time.
I want to improve my pagerank on my page so i am trying every website that bloggers says which can help. So i signed up entrecard website. It's a free blogging network that truly brings visitors to your blog. By joining the network, bloggers can earn Entrecard credits which allows them to display an ad of their blog on other blog sites within the sites network. Is much easier than blog hopping and putting your site URL then leaving messages on each blog you went to. When you are on Entrecard, all you have to do is look for the EC icon on the blog and click drop.Check my page and drop some EC love! Thanks friends...
Last saturday, i experienced problem with my computer. I can't use internet explorer because everytime i open browser it always said that the page can't be displayed. So i thought it was my internet provider's problem so i called them this morning. But i am not so sure if its my connection because i can use my yahoo messenger though webcam won't work. So i tried to ask my friend who is a technician about the problem, and he told me to just bring my pc at his shop. I went their this afternoon. He checked my pc and run internet browser, and it did open there. I am thinking that its really my ISP. Since it is working good at the shop, i updated my existing AVG anti-virus. I went home after it's done updating. When i got home, i turned on my pc and then there i saw a pop-up message that AVG anti-virus found trojan. Grrr to trojan!Well i am thankful that my pc is working well now and i have the updated AVG now, which helps a lot. Will do blog hopping, see yah later!
Had some problem with friendster website the other week. I lost some of my friends on the list but now they are back. I am happy because it will be not easy for me to add again those friends. I discovered new networking website, its facebook! The pension house we're staying at manila had their group in this page. I got curious what is facebook so i signed up. Today i checked my page there, added and accepted some new friends that i knew from friendster that also have facebook account. Facebook site is not as user-friendly as friendster though. I'm still confuse on how to use this site. Well, for those who want to check it just log in to www.facebook.com ..Leave me comment if you want to be added.
When i was in manila in the last 10 days, i did not have time to check friendster. So when i got home yesterday i checked my page and downloaded from photos taken from manila. I noticed that they went back to their old version of downloading pictures and also they always prompted that their page is on temporary maintenance. I signed in again today and noticed that almost 95% of my friends on the list was gone. I already have 235 friends on list and now it only has 16 names there and i can't see their profiles because its private already. Hope they can fix it and will restore again the list of friends. I think will just sign in to www.multiply.com. Try it there friends!
I will share some photos of Friendly's Guesthouse in Malate. It's cool and nice place for backpackers and to anyone who staying Manila for not so long time. They have area which you can watch tv, use computers and see the buildings around the place in their terrace. On this area of the house you can also see the unique paintings on the wall. I can't understand what it draws about but i like the colors. Here are some of the photos:
I am still here in manila with my friend. This is the day that she scheduled for her interview at the US embassy. She woke up so early this morning around 4:30am as alarmed in the clock. I was still sleeping while she was getting ready for the interview. She woke me up to send her to the Embassy waiting area. When she already fall in line with the others who also going inside the Embassy, i went back to hotel and slept again (hehe). The hotel we staying is just a walking distance away from the US Embassy. For now she's still at the Embassy, im not sure how long she will be there.I am here are internet cafe now and hope i am back at hotel already when she arrive, coz i bring the key for our room. Though, i left message to the security guard there that i am here at cafe.
Experienced rain shower today, but yesterday when we're at the Mall of Asia with my friends, it was raining so hard. They said it's because of the typhoon that was here in the country. We are still here at Friendly's US embassy for Guesthouse in Malate. But will be leaving here on November 12 and transfer to a hotel near the my friend's convenient when she will have her fiancee interview. The Celestine Hotel is located at Ermita street here in Malate, near the Ermita Shrine Church. Will give you more updates later..Bye for now..Happy blogging my friends!
I and my friend had fun today at the mall of asia. It was my first time being there since it was fully built. I been there last year 2006 but that time construction of building was still ongoing and also hiring for employees was started too. We really had fun because we also catched MYMP's band having their mall show for their new album. We haven't buy their CD though so we did not have seats that is right in front of the stage, but still we saw and heard them clearly. It was a fun day!
Hello my friends...just dropping by here to check new messages and updates. I'm still at manila and right now i am here at netopia cafe inside robinson's mall in malate while waiting for my friend. Is her first day of her medical at st. luke for the fiancee visa. Because i can't get inside with her at st. luke so i went here. Will be checking ppp page too and see if i can catch any opps today (hope so). More updates later..Have a nice day to all...
Will be leaving for manila tomorrow. Our flight scheduled 12:30pm. I will be going with my dear friend, who will be having her interview for a fiancee visa this 13th of November. But we are going there much early because she needs to have her medical before the said interview. I will be checking here sometimes but not so often as when i am just at home. That's all for now...Happy blogging!!!
The visit of our passed away loved ones is part of Filipino tradition that happens every 2nd day of November. It's what we did today. We lighted candles and offered prayers for the departed ones. Attended the mass celebration at the cemetery near the big cross. This big cross is where people light their candles for those passed away relatives and friends which graves they cannot find anymore in the cemetery. After the mass celebrated we went home.
I checked account at my local bank today and already got the money that i withdraw from paypal last Tuesday, October 21, 2008. So it takes 4 days to get my money on bank after every transaction on paypal. And i noticed they less Php200 from the money, I think this payment already depend on every bank. Well, anyway i thank that i already got the money.
I called Unionbank today to inquire about the paypal code because i did not get any reply from my email that i sent to their online customer service yesterday. The bank staff who received my call told me to go to their branch, so i did. When i arrived their she asked me what i want so i told them i need my paypal code. She called a certain person (i think it's their main branch), she asked about where to call for paypal code and i am just waiting for her. Until she gave me the phone so i can talk to the person on phone. Its a customer service representative, she asked me some information about the card and then asked to hold on for a while for she need to check my file. After a minute, she gave me the four digit paypal code for my account. I am now verified on paypal though it took a while. I will try to withdraw my money now!
I had problem on how to get my money from paypal that was paid for me from my blogging. I need a certain card to verify my account. I have local bank card but it is not acceptable for the said verification. I don't have a huge amount on paypal though but it's my money so i want to withdraw it from there. I end up browsing online for me to get any idea on what card from Philippines that can help me for the verification process. I found out that only Unionbank have cards that is capable of this things. So i went there last week to apply for an EON account. The bank staff asked me a two valid identifications as their requirements and i filled out the application form. I called Unionbank today after a week of application and they said it's already there so i picked it. EON Card does not require any initial deposits and it only requires Php 350.00 annual fee but i deposited Php 200, because as i read online it needs to deposit at least Php 100.00 because Paypal charges $1.95 (about Php93+) on the verification process. When i got home i tried to verify my paypal account and the card was accepted but haven't confirm it yet because i need a Paypal Expanded Use Code. As i knew online that i need to call their customer service number to get it the code number so i did but it was always busy so i tried to email their customer service. And i got a reply from them that i should provide some information for your my own protection and account verification so i replied all the details they asked. The Customer Service Correspondence Unit operates on Mondays to Fridays, from 8:30am to 5:30pm so i expect their response tomorrow about the Expanded Code because i just sent the reply information this late afternoon. Hope all will be good tomorrow and i can withdraw my money from paypal.
Last month the news about nearly 53,000 children in China have been made ill by milk powder contaminated with the industrial chemical melamine. The reason why Philippines and some other countries, suspends china milk imports. Philippine health officials have found melamine in two out of 30 milk products from China that have been tested for the industrial chemical at the center of China’s latest food-safety scandal. And in connection with this, I received a forwarded email about how to differentiate which country is the product made. It's said that you can tell it by first 3 digits of the barcode which is the country code wherein the product was made. For sample all barcodes that start with 690.691.692 until 695 are all MADE IN CHINA and 471 is Made in Taiwan. Nowadays, Chinese businessmen know that consumers do not prefer products 'made in china', so they don't show from which country it is made. However, you may now refer to the barcode, remember if the first 3 digits is 690-695 then it is made in China .

Spreading it's wing to the following:I just want to share here some photos that my boyfriend took at Divine Mercy Shrine, when we visited the place on our way to Iligan City from Lumbia airport. This is located at Ulaliman, El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental. We saw the 50ft. Statue of Divine Mercy and the ongoing construction of the church. The place is not yet finish but is already looks so wonderful.

One day I met a sweet gentleman and fell in love. When it
became apparent that we would marry, I made the supreme
sacrifice and gave up beans.
Some months later, on my birthday, my car broke down on the
way home from work. Since I lived in the countryside I called
my husband and told him that I would be late because I had to
walk home. On my way, I passed by a small diner and the odor
of baked beans was more than I could stand. With miles to
walk, I figured that I would walk off any ill effects by the
time I reached home, so I stopped at the diner and before I
knew it, I had consumed three large orders of baked beans. All
the way home, I made sure that I released ALL the gas.
Upon my arrival, my husband seemed excited to see me and
exclaimed delightedly: 'Darling I have a surprise for dinner
tonight!'
He then blindfolded me and led me to my chair at the dinner
table. I took a seat and just as he was about to remove my
blindfold, the telephone rang. He made me promise not to
touch the blindfold until he returned and went
to answer the call.
The baked beans I had consumed were still affecting me and
the pressure was becoming most unbearable, so while my husband
was out of the room I seized the opportunity, shifted my
weight to one leg and let one go. It was not only loud, but
it smelled like a fertilizer truck running over a skunk in
front of a pulpwood mill. I took my napkin from my lap and
fanned the air around me vigorously.
Then, shifting to the other cheek, I ripped off three more.
The stink was worse than cooked cabbage!!!
Keeping my ears carefully tuned to the conversation in the
other room, I went on like this for another few minutes.
The pleasure was indescribable. When eventually the telephone
farewells signaled the end of my freedom, I quickly fanned
the air a few more times with my napkin, placed it on my lap
and folded my hands back on it feeling very relieved and
pleased with myself.
My face must have been the picture of innocence when my
husband returned, apologizing for taking so long. He asked me
if I had peeked through the blindfold, and I assured him I
had not.
At this point, he removed the blindfold, and twelve dinner
guests seated around the table chorused: 'Happy Birthday!'
I fainted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Different people tend to have different attractions and turn-offs when it comes to the dating game. For example, when we are meeting someone new, we all focus on different things such as the looks, eyes, figure, legs, clothes or the way the person talks or walks to form an opinion on him or her.
I know of men who mentally strike off a woman as potential date by looking at her legs and I also know of women who judge a man by the way he eats. If we can have a little fun this week for
Let’s answer this:
What are the things that you tend to focus on when it comes to sizing up a potential mate during that crucial first encounter? The way he makes me smile and laugh. I usually focus on how he communicate with me and to others while we are together.
Join Love Qs and have fun....
I wanna thanks Yen for giving me this award.
