Earthquake!

While i am sitting infront of the computer and was busy dropping EC on other blogsites, an earthquake happened. It's around 6:30Pm when the shaking starts and ends after around 10 seconds. I thought it was just me who feels dizzy but when i look at tv, is was shaking too. Whew! sometimes unexpected moves of the earth really happens. Thank God it did not take so long time.

I want to improve my pagerank on my page so i am trying every website that bloggers says which can help. So i signed up entrecard website. It's a free blogging network that truly brings visitors to your blog. By joining the network, bloggers can earn Entrecard credits which allows them to display an ad of their blog on other blog sites within the sites network. Is much easier than blog hopping and putting your site URL then leaving messages on each blog you went to. At Last!

Last saturday, i experienced problem with my computer. I can't use internet explorer because everytime i open browser it always said that the page can't be displayed. So i thought it was my internet provider's problem so i called them this morning. But i am not so sure if its my connection because i can use my yahoo messenger though webcam won't work. So i tried to ask my friend who is a technician about the problem, and he told me to just bring my pc at his shop. I went their this afternoon. He checked my pc and run internet browser, and it did open there. I am thinking that its really my ISP. Since it is working good at the shop, i updated my existing AVG anti-virus. I went home after it's done updating. When i got home, i turned on my pc and then there i saw a pop-up message that AVG anti-virus found trojan. Grrr to trojan!Well i am thankful that my pc is working well now and i have the updated AVG now, which helps a lot. Will do blog hopping, see yah later!

Christmas is in the air

Yesterday was looking for the old christmas decorations that we used last year, trying to recycle. Our christmas tree can still be used so i cleaned it. Today, mama bought some new decorations for christmas tree so we decorated it and put some christmas lights that we used too the other year. Some of its bulb is not working already but some do. Also put some decorations around the house. Now i feel the christmas air..hehe. Is still early but here in Philippines, when the month's name ends in "ber" like September, we already thinking of Christmas time. We can see all christmas decorations that are already on sale at any department stores. And to those who earn by making and selling christmas lanterns are already busy.

Networking Sites for friends

Had some problem with friendster website the other week. I lost some of my friends on the list but now they are back. I am happy because it will be not easy for me to add again those friends. I discovered new networking website, its facebook! The pension house we're staying at manila had their group in this page. I got curious what is facebook so i signed up. Today i checked my page there, added and accepted some new friends that i knew from friendster that also have facebook account. Facebook site is not as user-friendly as friendster though. I'm still confuse on how to use this site. Well, for those who want to check it just log in to www.facebook.com ..Leave me comment if you want to be added.

what happened to friendster site?

When i was in manila in the last 10 days, i did not have time to check friendster. So when i got home yesterday i checked my page and downloaded from photos taken from manila. I noticed that they went back to their old version of downloading pictures and also they always prompted that their page is on temporary maintenance. I signed in again today and noticed that almost 95% of my friends on the list was gone. I already have 235 friends on list and now it only has 16 names there and i can't see their profiles because its private already. Hope they can fix it and will restore again the list of friends. I think will just sign in to www.multiply.com. Try it there friends!

Paintings

I will share some photos of Friendly's Guesthouse in Malate. It's cool and nice place for backpackers and to anyone who staying Manila for not so long time. They have area which you can watch tv, use computers and see the buildings around the place in their terrace. On this area of the house you can also see the unique paintings on the wall. I can't understand what it draws about but i like the colors. Here are some of the photos:

Flight Experience with Cebu Pacific Airline

Arrived home today from Manila but it was really supposedly last day. We fly with Cebu Pacific Airline because we don't have any choice. We get our ticket on the same day of our flight which is last November 14, friday. So when we went to PAL ticketing office, it is already fully-booked in all regular accomodations and only business class is available that is surely very high price. Our next choice was we checked Cebu Pacific and there they have available seats for regular rates.

I and my friend got ticket which is scheduled 2:20pm and then we went to where we staying, checked out our things and headed our way to NAIA, terminal 3. We arrived at exact time to check-in our luggages, the counter crew said that their will be a 30 mins delayed of our flight, then we said ok for we are not in a hurry and then we waited for our boarding time. When we are on plane already, the captain said that cagayan de oro weather is just cloudy so we thought there will be no problem at all. As we already arriving cagayan de oro airport, the captain announces that there's a bad weather condition at the place and we will wait for 20mins in the air before we can land on the airport. So the plane kept turning around the Lumbia airport for i guess more than 20mins. And then we just surprised when the captain said we are already heading our way, going back to Mactan International Airport in Cebu for we can't land at Cagayan de Oro. I thought we will just wait there and then will fly back again to Cagayan de Oro when we are secured to land already. But what i thought was wrong because after around 10 mins the captain announced that we will be going back to Manila. I felt so hungry coz we haven't eat our lunch yet before that flight and we arrived back to manila around 6:30pm. We just took some biscuits. We thought the Airline will give us some place to stay and something to eat because of what happened but we didn't get at all. They just told us to rebook our tickets and then get a new flight tomorrow. We end up staying at terminal 3 for the whole night, felt so mad with what they did to us. They did not even offer us water to drink while we are on the plane waiting for the results. Nobody to complain too because no officer on that terminal 3 that we can talk to, as they said their offices is at terminal 2 which is far from where we are. So if we will talk to officers we need to go there and we are too tired already to take a taxi just to look for someone to complain about what happened. I got around 3 hours slept at terminal chairs. My head was aching and really not feeling well when we took today's flight again. They did not gave us a special flight so we got the second scheduled flight at 8:30am, not the 4:00am flight as it is already fully booked. Made us to wait more time at the airport and waist of money because their foods there cost too much. Well, i thank God that we arrived Lumbia airport today safely though we had delayed of arrival too.

For Today

I am still here in manila with my friend. This is the day that she scheduled for her interview at the US embassy. She woke up so early this morning around 4:30am as alarmed in the clock. I was still sleeping while she was getting ready for the interview. She woke me up to send her to the Embassy waiting area. When she already fall in line with the others who also going inside the Embassy, i went back to hotel and slept again (hehe). The hotel we staying is just a walking distance away from the US Embassy. For now she's still at the Embassy, im not sure how long she will be there.I am here are internet cafe now and hope i am back at hotel already when she arrive, coz i bring the key for our room. Though, i left message to the security guard there that i am here at cafe.

updates from manila

Experienced rain shower today, but yesterday when we're at the Mall of Asia with my friends, it was raining so hard. They said it's because of the typhoon that was here in the country. We are still here at Friendly's US embassy for Guesthouse in Malate. But will be leaving here on November 12 and transfer to a hotel near the my friend's convenient when she will have her fiancee interview. The Celestine Hotel is located at Ermita street here in Malate, near the Ermita Shrine Church. Will give you more updates later..Bye for now..Happy blogging my friends!

MYMP Mall Show

I and my friend had fun today at the mall of asia. It was my first time being there since it was fully built. I been there last year 2006 but that time construction of building was still ongoing and also hiring for employees was started too. We really had fun because we also catched MYMP's band having their mall show for their new album. We haven't buy their CD though so we did not have seats that is right in front of the stage, but still we saw and heard them clearly. It was a fun day!

Is her first day of her medical at st. luke for the fiancee visa. Because i can't get inside with her at st. luke so i went here. Will be leaving for manila tomorrow. Our flight scheduled 12:30pm. I will be going with my dear friend, who will be having her interview for a fiancee visa this 13th of November. But we are going there much early because she needs to have her medical before the said interview. I will be checking here sometimes but not so often as when i am just at home. Today, All Souls Day

The visit of our passed away loved ones is part of Filipino tradition that happens every 2nd day of November. It's what we did today. We lighted candles and offered prayers for the departed ones. Attended the mass celebration at the cemetery near the big cross. This big cross is where people light their candles for those passed away relatives and friends which graves they cannot find anymore in the cemetery. After the mass celebrated we went home.
