RICE Shortage in Philippines?

Today, as i turn on the tv to watch news, this "rice shortage and "rice hoarding" in the Philippines is always their topic.

A lot of people in every part of the country trying to get the affordable price of rice which only can be bought at National Food Authority outlet and retailers. Those commercial rice are sold in high prices which ordinary people can't afford to buy. Here in our city is the same, rice prices are so expensive, it makes harder for people like us to buy. It is sad to know that we are now experiencing this rice crisis in our country. Rice is the very important food that we usually take as a Filipino. We know that every meal we always want rice to be in our table with some viand. Let's all pray for this crisis to end. And that we can have abundant harvest of rice sooner.
